On the 15th November the Ecumenical Council of Churches in Hungary welcomed Dr Elizabeta Kitanovic, Executive Secretary of Human Rights at the Conference of European Churches who gave the briefing to the church leadership about the security situation in Europe and presented the SASCE (Safer and Stronger Communities in Europe) project funded by Internal Police Fund of the European Commission. The project enlisted 15 countries and Hungary is among them. The church leadership received the information and the material Guide for Law Enforcement, Guide for the Leadership, staff and worshippers for security protection in Hungarian language and saw the part of the video material included in the SASCE training. The Ecumenical Council have appointed Rev. Dr Vilmos Fischl, General Secretary of ECCH, as security expert reporting the hate crimes and incidents in Hungary.
