During an insightful interview on Brussels’ Radio Judaica last year, Aline Niddam, Project and Development Manager at the Security and Crisis Centre (SACC) by the EJC, highlighted the vital work of the SASCE (Safer and Stronger Communities in Europe) project. As a unique interfaith alliance funded by the European Union, the SASCE project brings together the SACC by EJC, the European Buddhist Union, Faith Matters, and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore to enhance security and crisis protocols for places of worship. The radio segment detailed how these diverse partners cooperate to design practical security tools, manage crisis protocols, and deliver specialized protection training to safeguard places of worship across multiple faith groups.
